AL NUKE

FILM MAKER

Curtis Franklin Jr. born May 14, 1975, known professionally as Al Nuke, is an American rapper, actor, and filmmaker. Al Nuke has had an active film career since the early 2000’s, sharing the screen with the likes of 2 Pac “ Gangstresses” 

 

Al Nuke entered cinema by playing “Buc” in which he penned his first feature 17000 Block a 2005 drama loosly based of his life growing up in the inner city of Detroit, Mi. 

 

Al Nuke also wrote and starred in the 2013 hit drama “Birds of a Feather” which he also directed and Co Starred in along side hit maker and Grammy Award winning producer “Zaytoven”. 

 

In 2021 Al Nuke penned and directed a true classic “Detroit Dreams” starring today’s top industry musicians from Detroit. 

 

As of 2022, he has appeared in about 15 films, including dramas “Birds of a Feather 2”, “NARC”, urban comedies such as “Finesse” and “2 Finesse”, and cultural hit movie “Super Fly” produced by the Legendary Joel Silvermen.  He was an executive producer of many of these films, as well as the 2015 Iconic Dramas “Bag Men” & “Street Matrimoney”
